Diagnostic Testing

Electroneuronography (ENOG) is an objective test used to determine facial nerve function. ENOG is utilized in cases of acute facial paralysis to determine the extent of facial nerve degeneration and provide prognostic information for recovery. In addition, it can help in determining patients who are candidates for facial nerve decompression surgery.
